As you know, I’m back from the hospital.
I’m not functioning at my usual 100%, more like 1.2%.
That’s a rough calculation, so don’t use it for analysis of my professional abilities. Truth be told, I can barely make this keyboard operate.
You wouldn’t believe how many problems I had getting the picture on the left taken, edited, and posted.
But a picture is worth a 1000 words, and that picture says it all.
I am a zombie.
I’d like to thank everyone who has stood by me during the difficult hospital experience. Your thoughts, prayers, and warm wishes have been tremendously important.
And, of course, I want the offer a special thanks to Marcia Loney, my blog co-host.
I’m sure you’ll be hearing more from both of us.
Gary you look GREAT!!! I couldn’t edit a photo to save my life. Congrats on being able to eat even if it’s just a little. Our prayers continue!

You look great for a zombie – even for a real person, especially one who has been through so much. We hope just being home will help get you up to speed. Hospitals can really suck the energy out of people! All the best as you learn to get the nutrition you need in a different way. We’re all pulling for you!
In re-reading your blog this morning I am struck with the inaccuracy of your zombie description. I am thinking Ho Chi Minh.
The hat Gary, the hat.
Gary, glad to hear you escaped from the “horse-pistol”. Once they get your “whole body”, they have a hard time letting go.
Hope your recovery is speedy. Paul
