My friend Carl sent me this picture to remind me there IS a light at the end of the tunnel.
According to past experience, today will be the worst day of this round of chemo. So far, that’s pretty much the way it’s playing out.
Once I survive this I’ll only have one more big one to go through and I’ll be done.
So there is a bright light at the end to all this.
Thanks Carl for reminding me.
Optimistic Voices from the Wizard of Oz to go with the picture of the light at the end of the tunnel. A mantra to sing (okay it’s about the Emerald City but it could be about anything you want unless it’s flying monkeys):
“You’re out of the woods, You’re out of the dark, You’re out of the night. Step into the sun, Step into the light. Keep straight ahead for the most glorious place On the Face of the Earth or the sky. Hold onto your breath, Hold onto your heart, Hold onto your hope. March up to the gate and bid it open.”
Thank goodness! The trial is nearly done. And when will that last big chemo shot be scheduled? We all want to cheer you and Anne along right up to the light at the end of this long tunnel! And even after that! 🙂
What a beautiful photo! Gary you are just about there and here’s hoping the path will be quick and VERY EASY. The Rancourt east coast team is rooting for you!!!
